Writing papers by Victoria Harbour, standing up at 3 a.m. for Argentina, raising a camera on a quiet corner. Language is the job, Messi is the faith.

I studied languages from undergrad to grad school, and in 2025 I finished my MA in English Studies at the University of Hong Kong. I’m still on the island — writing a little, shooting a little, slowly making life wider.
Spanish is my second language. The reason I started is simple: I wanted to thank Messi in a language he understands — “¡Gracias, capitán!” — and to really hear what eleven thousand voices sing inside La Bombonera.
ENFP energy goes to football, friends and the camera. I post occasionally on Xiaohongshu, and drop a few half-sentences on Instagram from time to time.
Lionel · Andrés · Messi
Almost twenty years of watching football, and the one thing I’m sure of: if football is a language, he’s the poet of it. Eight Ballons d’Or, a World Cup, Copa América, Champions Leagues, Trebles — the numbers are only the footnote. The real footnote is every late night he made a small-town boy believe gentle people can be kings too.
“Mirá, mirá, mirá… andá pa’ allá, bobo.”

A concert crowd, strangers holding each other. The world is still worth it.
